Cleavers & Cocktails 2020 kicks off February 10 at micro.
Cleavers & Cocktails pits chef vs chef, bartender against bartender to create both a cocktail and two plates that must pair.
A food and bar black box will be provided at the beginning of Heat #1 with the culinary item and the bar item included in the final dish and cocktail. A new black box filled with more challenging and off-beat items (surprise!!) will be provided at the beginning of Heat #2 and that must also be used in the final cocktail and plate.
For our inaugural 2020 battle, we’ve added another twist – a theme. Dishes must be inspired by our ‘Summer Party in February’ theme.
At the end of each heat, the competitor’s efforts will be evaluated by our judges AND small samples of the dish and cocktail will be distributed to all guests. Guests will help determine the winner of the evening.
For this competition, our four competitors are representing four different spaces.
